The Story

The story behind Junior Miracle.

The foundation for Junior Miracle began before the Knoxville Miracle was announced.

When Eugene Bleecker and his family moved to Knoxville in 2021, his daughters fell in love with softball. Around the same time, 108 Performance’s work began expanding deeper into the softball world, creating a clearer view of both the passion inside the game and the need for bigger opportunities beyond the traditional softball pathway.

Over the last several years, that journey made one thing clear: young girls who love softball should grow up seeing a future inside the game.

Junior Miracle is part of that future.

More than a team.

The Knoxville Miracle is being built as more than a professional softball team.

It is being built as an ecosystem designed to connect the professional game, youth development, family, community, and long-term growth for softball in East Tennessee.

Junior Miracle is one of the clearest expressions of that vision. It gives young athletes a closer connection to the professional environment being built in Knoxville and creates a pathway where the next generation can learn, grow, and be inspired by the culture around the Miracle.

The Knoxville Miracle has secured the building next door to the current 108 Performance facility as part of the organization’s larger softball development vision.

The plan is for that space to become a dedicated environment connected to the Knoxville Miracle professional team and the Junior Miracle program, helping create a development culture where young athletes can be closer to the standards and expectations of the professional game.
