THREE-TIME ALL-AMERICAN

A native of Kenly, North Carolina, Johnson enjoyed an exceptional collegiate career at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she established herself as one of the premier offensive players in the Peach Belt Conference.

During her time with the Braves, Johnson became the first player in program history to earn three separate All-American distinctions, receiving two National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American selections and an additional honor from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

Johnson led the Peach Belt Conference with a .435 batting average, a .512 on-base percentage, and five triples. She also recorded 64 hits, 14 doubles, eight home runs, 43 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases while posting an impressive .762 slugging percentage.

Johnson also made history by becoming UNC Pembroke’s all-time leader in doubles, recording her 48th career double during her senior campaign. Her outstanding collegiate career included two Team MVP honors and recognition as UNC Pembroke’s Female Athlete of the Year.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Following her collegiate success, Johnson continued her playing career professionally in the American Softball Association.

During the 2018 professional season, she earned All-Second Team recognition before following that performance with All-Star and All-Defensive Team honors in 2019.

Johnson later transitioned into coaching, joining the University of Montevallo softball staff as an assistant coach and bringing her professional playing experience and knowledge of the game to the next generation of athletes.
