Knoxville Miracle Add Poole and Bailey to Inaugural Roster
The Knoxville Miracle have signed Hannah Poole and Macauley Bailey, adding versatility, perseverance, power and deep East Tennessee ties to the inaugural roster.

The Knoxville Miracle have added Hannah Poole and Macauley Bailey to their inaugural roster, signing both players to professional contracts ahead of the franchise’s first season in summer 2027.
Poole brings collegiate experience across the infield and outfield, while Bailey arrives after a decorated Carson-Newman career that established her as one of East Tennessee’s most accomplished collegiate power hitters.
Hannah Poole

A native of Nicholson, Georgia, Poole brings a wealth of collegiate experience to Knoxville after stops at Radford University, Furman University and Creighton University.
The 5-foot-4 right-handed hitter has shown the ability to impact a roster in multiple ways, playing both the infield and outfield throughout her career.
During the 2024 season at Furman, Poole started all 48 games in right field, collecting 37 hits, 20 runs, 21 RBI, five doubles, two triples and three home runs. She also went 6-for-8 in stolen-base attempts and posted a .983 fielding percentage.
After beginning her collegiate career at Radford and losing a season to injury, Poole continued working forward. She became an everyday starter at Furman before finishing her collegiate career at Creighton.
“Hannah is one of those players who just finds a way to help your team win. She’s versatile, athletic and competitive, but what impressed us most was the way she approached every opportunity during our evaluation process. She came in hungry. She competed. And she showed us that playing professional softball meant something to her.”
Poole was a four-year varsity starter at East Jackson High School. She helped lead the program to the 2016 Georgia Class 3A state championship, earned All-State honors and finished her high school career with a .348 batting average, 15 home runs and 107 RBI.
“Every player who earns one of these roster spots has a different story. Hannah’s story is about perseverance. She’s been through injuries, different programs and different roles, and she kept showing up and competing. When we talk about the type of people we want helping us build the Miracle, that matters.”
Macauley Bailey

A native of Cross Plains, Tennessee, Bailey starred for four seasons at Carson-Newman University and developed into one of the most feared offensive players in the region.
With the signing, Bailey makes history as the first Carson-Newman softball player to sign a professional contract. Her collegiate career included multiple All-America honors and recognition as the 2023 NFCA Division II National Freshman of the Year.
For the Miracle, Bailey’s signing continues the organization’s commitment to identifying elite talent while providing athletes from East Tennessee and the surrounding region an opportunity to continue their careers at the professional level.
“Macauley is exactly the type of player and person we want representing the Knoxville Miracle. She has proven throughout her career that she can hit at an elite level, but what stood out to us just as much was the competitor she is and the way she carries herself. She has earned this opportunity, and we’re excited that she gets to begin her professional career right here in East Tennessee.”
After building her collegiate legacy just down the road in Jefferson City, Bailey will now have the opportunity to continue her playing career professionally in Knoxville.
“For young softball players in this area, this is what we want them to see. You can grow up here, play college softball here, develop here and now have an opportunity to play professionally here. Macauley becoming the first professional softball player from Carson-Newman is something she and that program should be incredibly proud of.”
